MEPOS Electronics (herein called the "Seller") shall not be liable for manufacturing delays caused by the act of God, fire or accidents, or other reasons beyond the Seller's reasonable control.
Unless otherwise stated, all orders are F.O.B. Seller's factory. The Buyer agrees to pay all transportation costs and is responsible for providing the Seller with any special shipping instructions. In the case where the Buyer does not have a preferred carrier, the Seller may arrange transportation for the Buyer and charge a service overhead.
All quotes are valid for thirty (30) days. Any clerical errors are subject to correction.
Unless otherwise stated, the Seller requires full payment from the Buyer before shipment. Any amount past due may be subjected to a late charge of 0.5 ~ 1% per month up to a total of 18% per annum.
The Buyer agrees to pay USD$30 for each failed cheque to cover the bank process fee.
>> Limited Warranty & RMA Terms
As specified in the Seller’s sales confirmation for the customized product or in the datasheet of the standard product, the Seller provides a warranty for its product. If the product was made-to-order, then the starting date of the warranty was from the completion date of production as showing on the date code of the label. If the product was sold from our inventory, then the starting date of the warranty was from the date when the customer received it.
Should any defect occurs due to unintentional or environmental causes during the warranty period, and that the case is verified by the Seller and the customer, the Seller will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number to the Buyer for the return. The Seller reserves the right to either 1) refund the Buyer including the freight or 2) repair or replace the product free of charge. The cause and accountability of the product defect will be determined upon examination by the Seller.
In the case of product repair or replacement as certified by the Seller and the warranty of the product is still valid, the cost of repair, replacement, and 2-way standard shipping which is designated by the Seller will be covered by the Seller. On the contrary, the Buyer is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement including the 2-way shipping. The cost will be notified by the Seller and the Buyer can make decision before repair or replacement.
The repaired or replaced product will be covered by the warranty of the original product within the original period of the warranty if the Seller is responsible for the defect.
The Seller's product warranty excludes the following :
(1) Damage due to inevitable natural disasters or accidents.
(2) Products not sold by the Seller.
(3) Damage due to the misuse of product and improper installation, operation, storage or transportation
(4) Defect caused by the dissembling of product or the changing of parts unless first notifying and obtaining authorization from Seller.
(5) Product of which the label or the barcode has been removed or altered.
(6) Direct or indirect damage to the product caused by the negligence of operating instruction and conditions as specified in the product specs and related technical issues.
Product return is not accepted for reasons other than defects.
The Seller shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expense as a result of the Buyer's use or misuse of the Seller's products.
Cancellation of order is not accepted under all circumstances upon the Seller's receipt of the signed sales confirmation from the Buyer, and the Buyer is required to pay the indicated amount in any case.
Should any legal action be enforced and the Seller prevails, the Buyer is required to cover the Seller's attorney's fee and any operation and related cost occuring during the period.
